Wazo's datacenter
is located in the Time Warner's Regional Data Center facility in Greensboro, NC.
Greensboro enjoys a relatively low incidence rate of natural
instabilities that can interfere with mission critical Internet
connectivity, such as hurricanes, tornados, high winds and flooding.
Time Warner's state-of-the-art facility is also designed for
maximum performance and impenetrable reliability.
More specifically,
the facility includes the following engineering:
 |
 |
Multiple
connections to the Internet backbone allows Wazo to handle the
throughput needs of the busiest applications and websites. |
 |
Cisco Systems Gigabit Core and Border routers facilitate
redundant, load balanced Internet connectivity. |
 |
Cisco Systems Gigabit level switching for commercial services core
network ensures minimum latency. |
 |
 |
Large-system
UPS and DC power plants, a backup diesel generator and FM-200 fire
suppression minimize network outages. |
 |
Remote
NOC network monitoring and secured physical access minimize
security risks. |
 |
Internet connectivity via Time Warner's redundant optical carriers
form a self-healing ring to geographically diverse Internet
backbone peering points. |
